MACRO-SYNTHETIC FIBER ALTERNATIVE FOR SECONDARY CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT
Fibermesh® 650 is a specially engineered alloy polymer macro-synthetic fiber designed to provide high-performance secondary concrete reinforcement. An excellent alternative to traditional steel reinforcement, Fibermesh 650 macro concrete fibers feature our patented e3® fiber technology, which helps provide superior long-term durability, including impact, abrasion and shatter resistance. It’s designed for slab-on-ground applications, composite metal decks and exterior flatwork such as driveways, sidewalks, overlays and parking areas. In addition, Fibermesh 650 can be used as shotcrete fibers in underground and tunnel applications.
FEATURES E3® TECHNOLOGY FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE
Fibermesh 650’s e3® technology is a blend of polypropylene concrete fibers engineered three ways—by length, thickness and mix ratio. This technology allows the fibers to disperse quickly and evenly throughout the concrete mix. It also ensures that the fibers are manufactured to an optimum gradation with a top size Aspect Ratio of 100. These graded fibers are highly oriented for greater surface area contact within the concrete, providing increased interfacial bonding and flexural toughness efficiency.
EASY TO PLACE
With Fibermesh® 650, installation is easy. The Fibermesh bags are simply added to the truck at the ready mix facility. Because there’s no additional forming, handling or positioning, Fibermesh 650 is also safer to use. Plus, no costly lifting equipment is required. Fiber reinforced concrete is easily pumped to multistory elevations, and it places and finishes with standard equipment for faster, more efficient construction.
